John is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience as the lead Tax Partner at one of the Big Four accounting firms, advising a broad client base across a wide range of industries.
John has specialised in taxation and the resolution of complex business challenges for both public and private organisations. His unique skillset has seen him develop a strong interest in the design of remuneration and incentive structures, particularly for private companies seeking to attract, retain and reward key staff. His experience in equity incentive arrangements allows businesses to balance optimal outcomes for employees while maintaining appropriate levels of ownership control.
In addition to his professional work, John brings valuable governance and public sector experience. He has served as an elected member of the City of Unley and as the presiding member of the Audit Committee, giving him a well‑rounded perspective on risk, compliance and decision‑making. He is also Chair of the Finance Committee for Walford Anglican School.
