Neil Oakes

Neil, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Technical Tax expert, is the Director in charge of Perks’ Tax Consulting Division and has been working in public practice since 2000.

In this time, he has developed his skills by providing tax consulting advice to a wide range of small, medium and large enterprises. With a Masters Degree in Taxation, together with his general business advisory experience, Neil is able to provide clients with commercially focussed strategic taxation advice.

Neil is a respected leader within the tax profession who is frequently called upon to present on topical tax issues for The Tax Institute. Additionally, his involvement in various committees for The Tax Institute ensures that he is at the forefront of developments in the area of Taxation.

Being the relationship-driven professional that he is, Neil derives the most satisfaction from his job through dealings with his clients and colleagues. He enjoys the technical aspects of his role and achieving desired results for his clients, ensuring they reach their financial goals and have the most tax efficient structures in place.
