Michael Boffa

Since joining Perks in 2009 through the CA Achiever Program, Michael has become a key figure in the firm’s Business Services division, providing holistic accounting and business advisory services to a wide range of businesses and their owners/ stakeholders. His clients span a diverse range of industries, from healthcare, pharmacy and legal to horse racing and agriculture and not-for-profit organisations.

Michael is an expert at helping his clients navigate every aspect of their business and personal finances, helping them not only achieve their business goals, but also build their personal wealth. He is committed to developing long term relationships, including guiding many professionals on their career journey, starting from university through to advanced training, owning their own business and succession planning as they approach retirement.

He prides himself on being the point of call for his clients, working with them to design and implement sophisticated personal taxation and wealth strategies. Michael also works closely with other Perks specialists to design and implement holistic solutions across a range of services his clients may require such as insurance, wealth management, SMSF and banking. As an experienced and highly capable business adviser, Michael works with his clients in business to deliver end-to-end solutions incorporating bookkeeping, compliance, management reporting and end of year
tax compliance.

He is focussed on developing strategies that streamline end of year processes and enable proactive decision making aligned key business KPIs and has worked with many clients to assist in their digital transformation through the implementation of customised cloud accounting solutions that enable higher quality and more timely business insights.
