Update – Easing of Restrictions for Licensed Venues in SA

The SA Premier announced the further easing of restrictions for licensed premises. These significant changes are as follows and will apply from Monday 29 June 2020:
- All caps are removed and have been replaced by a 1 in 2 square metre rule (effectively 50% capacity)
- Social distancing still applies and should be monitored
- Patrons can now stand up and drink
- Drinking at the bar is permissible
- There is no requirement to be seated while eating and drinking
- Gaming rooms will re-open on 29 June.
