COVID Safe Plan for Reopening Your Business (SA)

5 years ago Posted on 23/6/2020

As businesses start to re-open, we are receiving more updates from from the South Australian Government around the requirements for safely returning back to work.

For South Australian businesses that were previously required to close due to COVID-19 and are due to re-open, they must complete a COVID-Safe Plan before they re-open.

For South Australian businesses that were already open and completed a plan for Step 2 Easing of Restrictions, you WILL need to complete a revised COVID-Safe Plan if you:

  • plan to offer more rooms or spaces to patrons
  • plan to extend or alter the floorspace of any existing rooms or spaces.

You must print out the Plan and ensure it is visible on your premises, and if you have more than one location, you must create and print plan for each location.

Failure to complete the plan and make it readily available on your business premises can result in a fine of up to $5,000.
