National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

Here are some of the activities happening around the city, and the greater metro area (you’ll need to filter to SA events). We encourage you to check them out!

For Team Members that would like to participate, the People & Culture Team would like to invite you to accompany them to a free public talk about contemporary ceramics by Aboriginal artists that is being put on at the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) – click here for more details.
