Meet Simon

Simon leads Perks Private Wealth and works with Adelaide business owners, professionals and retirees who want clarity, confidence and control over their financial future. With a background spanning senior corporate leadership and award‑recognised financial advice, Simon is known by clients for his clear judgement, calm authority and ability to turn complex decisions into decisive action.

He supports clients at pivotal moments, building and protecting wealth, navigating succession, and planning for the long term, bringing structure to complexity and ensuring strategy keeps pace as circumstances and markets evolve. Clients value Simon’s direct, transparent approach and the confidence that comes from knowing their decisions are grounded in disciplined thinking rather than market noise.

Leadership & Contribution

As Head of Perks Private Wealth, Simon sets the strategic direction for the business, shaping how advice is delivered, strengthening governance frameworks, and ensuring a consistent standard of discipline, accountability and care across the client experience.

Prior to joining Perks, Simon co‑founded boutique wealth firm Wotherspoon Wealth alongside his father and later merged the business with Perks in 2020. This founder‑led experience brings a long‑term mindset, strong commercial judgement and an ownership mentality to his leadership.

Alongside his client work, Simon contributes to the broader strategic leadership of the firm through his roles on the Perks Group Board and Investment Committee, helping guide portfolio architecture and investment thinking in response to evolving markets and opportunities.
