Mark is the Executive Chairman of the Perks Group and has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm over nearly four decades. During this time, he has overseen Perks’ evolution and growth, ensuring the business remains well‑governed, resilient and positioned for what comes next.

In leading and playing a big part in helping to grow Perks, he brings insight grounded in lived experience and a deep understanding of the complexities that come with scale, succession and long‑term stewardship.

Leadership & Contribution

As the Executive Chairman, Mark provides strategic oversight across the Perks Group and leads the Perks Group Board. He is deeply involved in shaping the firm’s long‑term direction, culture and governance, while supporting the next generation of leaders across the business.

Beyond Perks, Mark has extensive board experience across corporate, cultural and not‑for‑profit organisations. He currently serves as a Non‑Executive Director of LEA Global, an international network of independent accounting and consulting firms, representing the Asia Pacific region on the Global Board, providing him with direct insights into worldwide trends shaping professional services, and a forum to connect with like-minded advisors worldwide.

With a long‑standing passion for the arts and cultural leadership, Mark is Chairman of The Lang Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Governors for The Helpmann Academy and is actively involved with the Art Gallery of South Australia. He previously served as Deputy Chair of the Adelaide Festival Corporation Board and continues to sit on the advisory boards of a number of prominent South Australian private businesses, bringing a strong governance lens, commercial judgement and long‑term perspective.
