John is a strategic tax specialist who operates at the intersection of commercial reality and technical precision. As Tax Consulting Director at Perks, he works with boards, executives and owners navigating complex decisions where tax outcomes materially shape business value.  

With more than 25 years at the top end of corporate tax advisory, John brings an intentional, outcome-focused approach and his ability to pause before solving – taking the time to uncover the real issue at hand and align solutions to clients’ objectives.

John strengthens Perks’ senior tax capability through depth of experience and clarity of thinking. A former corporate tax partner at a large public firm, he brings perspective shaped by decades of advising large and complex organisations, along with an ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
