Sam Wagner

Sam has assisted many clients in the key areas of tax compliance, business valuations and restructures, business transactions and transitioning their financial affairs to the cloud.

Sam started at Perks through the CA Program, run by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), in 2007. He spent the next 4 years working as an Undergraduate while completing his Commerce and Law degrees, starting as a full-time accountant at Perks in 2011. His focussed and dedicated work ethic, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a client-centric approach soon saw his promotion through the ranks, most recently being appointed an Associate Director in Accounting Services.

 

With a specific focus on the pharmacy and medical industries, Sam has assisted many clients in the key areas of tax compliance, business valuations and restructures, business transactions and assisting clients transition their financial affairs to the cloud.

 

In addition to his skill and experience in the area of accounting, Sam’s university study of law has given him a grounding which has assisted with the legal side of more complex transactions, such as the sale and purchase of businesses. With a keen eye for detail and his analytical approach, Sam is well-equipped to assist his clients in achieving their goals.

 

Sam’s precise and diligent approach to his work is a clear indication of his dedication to his clients and his commitment to producing the best possible results for them. His focus on developing long lasting client relationships provides for excellent service quality and has played an essential role in his clients’ ongoing success.

Outside of work: I enjoy playing hockey in my spare time and have been a loyal member of the Adelaide University Hockey Club since 2006. I am a Carlton supporter and enjoy relaxing and watching the footy with friends and family, and am an avid cricket fan. My favourite 5 days of the year are the Adelaide Test Match. I grew up on a farm in the South East and when we can my wife Jacqui and I enjoy heading down there for a break and to visit the family.
