Nearing three decades in the financial services industry, Peter has gained significant experience through the many changes that have occurred in the superannuation and life insurance markets over the years.
He joined Perks in February 2000 and through extensive professional development, positioned himself as one of Adelaide’s leading personal and corporate life insurance specialists.
Peter’s high level advice is driven by a robust and intricate understanding of the constant changes in legislation and the numerous policy conditions present in the life insurance market. As a result he is often sought out by life insurance providers for input into their product design, which in turn directly benefits his clients and demonstrates his dedication in closely understanding their individual risk protection needs.
Peter’s core focus throughout the financial planning process is to ensure his clients are financially protected against the uncertain, the unforeseen or the undesired by making sure appropriate compensation and security is provided. When things do go wrong, Peter and his team provide invaluable support throughout the claim process with clear advice and feedback every step of the way. He is passionate about making a positive difference having helped secure over $30m in client claim payments over the last 10 years alone.
What Peter enjoys most about working at Perks are the clients. No two clients’ situations or needs are exactly the same and he enjoys the challenge that comes from providing a wide variety of advice.
Peter’s core focus is to ensure clients are financially protected against the uncertain, the unforeseen or the undesired by ensuring appropriate compensation and security is provided.

Outside of work: I am married with three children ranging in age from 14 to 20. Weekends are primarily spent supporting their various sporting teams and relaxing afterwards with a cold beer or a good bottle of red with close friends.
If you were stranded on a desert island what 2 items would you take: A good solar radio and a mirror – to attract attention from passing ships & planes
