Adelaide accounting and financial services firm, Perks, is proud to announce the launch of a new business, Perks People Solutions (PPS), which is the joining of their Perks People and Culture division and Axia People.

Like parent company Perks, who offers businesses and their owners a range of fully integrated accounting and financial services, PPS will offer clients customised, practical and expert recruitment and HR solutions. These services include executive search and coaching, along with performance management, training, contract development, performance reviews and restructures.

Managing Director of Perks, Mark Roderick explains, “We created PPS because we identified a growing demand from existing clients and the broader business community, for quality HR advice and services.”

“Our aim is to support South Australian businesses to attract, retain and develop the best people.  This fits well with Perks’ offering which is to provide clients with integrated financial and business services, all under one roof,” concluded Mark.

Joint PPS Directors, Cecilia White and Matt Hobby, believe that people are a company’s most valuable asset and that with the right tailored recruitment solutions and contemporary business-focused HR, PPS can help drive businesses forward.

Cecilia White said, “The Perks People and Culture division began six years ago with a HR focus and some recruitment services but was looking to expand the recruitment offering. Axia People were a like-minded company with similar values and a focus on recruitment and HR.”

Matt Hobby said, “Just like Perks creates solutions for businesses and their owners in areas like accounting, taxation and wealth management, PPS will do the same in the areas of HR and recruiting, providing integrated solutions so business owners can concentrate on what they do best.”

Both Directors believe that PPS’s strength is it’s partnership approach, they explain, “We have a long-term view when working with our clients. We partner with them and our understanding of their culture and business ensures we put the right people in the right jobs at the right time and provide expert HR advice. Understanding and connecting people is an art that we pride ourselves on.”

The six-person team will consist of Matt Hobby (Director), Cecilia White (Director), Catherine Morony (Senior Consultant), Lucy Wallace (Senior Consultant), Nadia Petruzzella (Associate Consultant) and Krystal Verdote (Senior People & Culture Administrator).
