Mark Roderick

Perks Group Managing Director, Director - Chartered Accounting

“Technical competence is fundamentally important in providing sound advice. It’s also the experience and ability to translate client needs into practical and relevant solutions that gives the added depth to our advice."

Mark Roderick is the Group Managing Director of Perks and is also a Director of Perks Chartered Accounting, with 20 years experience in financial accounting and advisory.

Since moving into his role as a Director 14 years ago, the firm has been Mark’s training ground for running and growing a successful business.

Through his hands-on management of Perks, Mark is experienced with managing the challenges, issues and pressures confronted by SME owners. Mark’s insight, gained over more than a decade, underpins the strength of his advice and ability to provide relevant and viable solutions to his business clients.

Combining this practical insight with an integrated approach, Mark brings together taxation advice, asset protection and strategies on profit improvement to provide business owners with complete and cohesive financial solutions.

Notably, Mark’s long-term perspective has helped sustain his clients’ success through hands-on guidance in business start-ups, reconstructions, refinancing and estate and succession planning. Clearly committed to his clients, Mark serves on many of his clients’ advisory boards, frequently in the capacity as Director or Chairman.

Mark’s robust experience, clear dedication to the profession and strong leadership within the community, particularly to his code of rugby union, has culminated in his advancement to Fellowship at both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Taxation Institute of Australia.

As an aspiring mountaineer, his adventures have taken him off the beaten track along the Kokoda trail and on expeditions to the heights of the Andes Mountains. On his more mellow days, Mark can be found with his family at Coffin Bay reeling in a King George Whiting or persisting with his golf swing.
