Anita Allan is a Director and is the first ever female to hold this role at Perks - a significant milestone for both the firm and Anita.

The achievement has been realised early in her career, having joined the firm as an undergraduate accountant in 1999. Within 9 years, Anita was appointed to her current role of Director.

Today, she divides her time between managing her team and focusing on Perks’ Pharmacy Specialisation to provide the firm’s more than 80 local and national pharmacy clients with specialist taxation and strategic business advice.

Fundamentally motivated by client needs, Anita’s high standards and focused energy helps to ensure her clients’ multifaceted financial and business issues are effortlessly and methodically managed.

Through continuous improvement, Anita has developed a robust range of technical skills in tax audit and compliance, financial statements and forecasting and research and development.

Anita has also fostered strong industry insight though her work with clients from diverse industries including aquaculture, hospitality, building and construction and retail pharmacy.

Demonstrating a forehand as solid as her accounting and business acumen, Anita competes regularly in her local tennis districts competition. On occasion, she willingly replaces the racquet for a good book.
