Perks 20/20 Cricket Match

The first Perks 20/20 match was a stellar success and the crowd was enthralled by the low standard of play and the result coming down to the last ball!

Rudderless Team 2 (76 runs) conquered Boonies “Struggle” (72 runs).

Heroes:

Pat “Mark Waugh” Hodby taking at least two screamers
Greg Perks' heckling of Phil “Wobbly” Wigley in the last few overs
The umpiring and scorekeeping – hats off to Brian Nimmo, Steve Chambers and Pete Telford for a fine effort
Tom Paine's effort in getting the game off the ground
Anthony Dubbioso taking 3/4 in the best bowling of the night
Mr Hodby Jnr's (Pat's son Jack) fielding

Villains:

Phil Wigley and Matt Fabri scoring - 2 for their 4 overs and giving us the win
Some of the fielding was atrocious (we wont name names)
